One of my favorite quotes about Personal Growth

This quote always permeates into my cells. It has resonated with my own life journey, but it is especially powerful now. I am gaining clarity into the the places in which I imprison myself mentally and emotionally. Personal expectations, comparisons, and pressures along with heavy feelings of obligation to others can lead to total constriction and shut down. That's a very painful place to be.

One of the yogic guidelines (Yamas) called Satya (truthfulness) has been my relentless teacher. I have it tattooed on my wrist! Truthfulness sets me free from my bud of self- restriction. Attuning to my Truthfulness allows me to blossom as I let go of apology, guilt, and worry.

I plan to continue asking myself again and again in the coming days and months ( and the rest of my life) ~ what is my truth? How can I continue to flow with expansion and not get caught up in the traps of powerlessness and limitation? I think of the flower...tired of being a bud and confidently bursting open with its unique beauty 🙏🕉
